This years Mountains to Sea Festival kicks off next week - and the line up is STELLAR.
Niamh Sharkey, Derek Landy, Liz Pichon, Charlie Higson, Patrick Ness, Phil Earle, Philip Ardagh, Gary Northfield, Cathy Cassidy, Steve Simpson, Judi Curtin and Chris Judge all in one place. What more could anyone ask for?

I have two pairs of tickets to the Mountains to Sea Great Ad-app-tations: The Picture Book and Beyond Panel (featuring publishing doyenne Kate WIlson, children’s laureate Niamh Sharkey, illustrator supremo Gary Northfield and director extraordinaire Norton Virgien) and tickets to New Voices: Writing, Editing and Promoting a New Children’s Writer (featuring Sarah Moore Fitzgerald, Sheila Agnew, Caroline Walsh and the most handsome man in children’s books Mr Phil Earle)

Sadly we can’t make it to the events otherwise we would LOVE to have entered for the tickets - daughter really loves meeting authors and it always inspires her so much and improves her creative writing and helps her literacy in general at school. Hope maybe we can manage to save travel to some next year - no bookie fest happen near here. Good luck with your events tho! 🙂 🙂

Hi Avril - it is usually around this time of year - keep an eye out in the next few weeks for details of 2014 and beyond. (And consider yourself in the book round!)
